Getting around

Distances are short and to the visitor it will look as if Flemish cities are just a subway ride away from each other. A dense train network connects all of Flanders. National and international passes are available at major train stations. The B-rail website will give you timetables, price and online ticket information. b-rail.be

Seat reservations are not available on trains within Flanders (except for groups). Travel is valid only for dates shown on the ticket. First and 2nd class tickets are available. Trains leave, on average, every 1/2 hour between all major cities. The first train leaves at approximately 5:00 am and the last one departs at approximately 11:00 pm.

 

Specials & Passes are available such as:

Children's fare

12 years of age and under ride free during off peak travel (after 9:01 am). During peak travel children ride at a 50% discount off the normal ticket price.

 

Senior Citizens (over 65)

Seniors can purchase a roundtrip ticket for 4 Euro (Restrictions: weekdays before 9:00 am and weekends during public holidays).

 

Weekend Fares 50% off

 

Weekly Pass

Unlimited rides for one week for 75 Euros. This pass can not be shared.

 

Belgian Rail Pass

69 Euro for 10 trips inside Belgium (2nd class) . The pass can be shared by several passengers.

 

Go Pass

10 trips inside Belgium for 45 Euro available for youths under 26. The pass can be shared by several passengers .
